Euroa Parade of Vehicles

WHEN – Saturday 1st October 2011
TIME – 11am - (Marshalling 10.00am)
WHERE – Binney Street
HOW – Marshall from 10am along Railway Street from Kirkland Avenue intersection.
ENTRY – FREE – Contact the Day Co-Ordinator, John Arandall (0357953372 or 0408322691)
or the Event Coordinator, John Gilbert on 0357951771 by 5pm on 28th September.

THE PRIZE - a dinner for two at a well known local eatery and a certificate will be presented to the winner at the Australian National Show & Shine Euroa on Sunday. This prize will be voted on by locals in Binney Street on the day of the event from 10.30 am to midday.

VOTER PRIZE - A similar prize will be made available from the voting slips for one lucky voter. The voting slips and awards will be organised by the Business Enterprise Euroa parade coordinator – John Gilbert.

A slow Grand Parade of entrants in the Australian National Show & Shine Euroa will compete for the best SHOW entry, involving two laps of Binney Street. The first lap via Bury, Kirkland Ave and Railway Streets and after the second lap through Binney Street, assemble in Brock Street for display.

A commentary will by conducted by one of the Euroa Car enthusiasts using a PA in Binney Street.

Jim Davidson will add his brand of singing to entertain the expected crowd. Compulsory lead and trailing cars with flashing lights have been organised through John Arandall. Shire of Strathbogie are to organise Traffic Management.

Parking will be reserved along the Catholic Church side of Brock Street to park the parade cars for display after the parade, any overflow into Kirkland Avenue.
